Career

At twelve years old she started her artistic career.

At "O Tablado", Luma had classes with Aracy Mourthé e Cico Caseira for two consecutive years. She also participated in a workshop with Sérgio Penna and a Master Class with Bernard Hiller.

In theatre, she performed in "A Menina e o Vento" by Maria Clara Machado and "O Pequeno Polegar" at Miguel Falabella Theatre, for a skits festival celebrating 50 years of Tablado's existence.

Luma started her career at TV Globo in 2001, as the young Ermelinda on the show "Um Anjo Caiu do Ceu".

Her other roles include Leticia in "O Beijo do Vampiro", Marcia Anita in "Começar de Novo" (2004) and Francis in "Páginas da Vida"(2006), along with other minor works at "Sítio do pica pau Amarelo","Carga Pesada", "Malhação" and many others.

In 2007, while working at TV Record, Luma earned the lead role in the plot written by Ana Maria Morethezon, "Luz do Sol". She played the popular surfer "Drica",short for Maria Rosa.

Soon after, while still at Record, Luma was invited by Lauro César Muniz to represent Bebel Borges in the soap opera"Poder Paralelo".

She returned to TV Globo on the second half of 2011 for the prime time soap opera "Fina Estampa", written by Aguinaldo Silva, where she played the hot kitesurfer Nanda, the muse of Pepe beach.

The actress is currently playing a  stripper named Odete Roitman on "Pe na Cova" sitcom, written by Miguel Falabella.
